The middle rune corresponds to the Norn Verðandi and that which is, as well as the path you, or the person you’re reading for, are currently on. It reflects all those influences in the present that relate directly to the question. The Verðandi rune frequently points to a choice that needs to be made. This rune refers to present circumstances and will point out any choices that will have to be made in the very near future.

Spend 9 days with each rune and do daily Meditation & Trance-work (Útiseta Meditation — “sitting out” in the wilderness). There is one-to-one correspondence between Theban and the letters in the old Latin alphabet. The modern characters J and U are not represented. They are often transliterated using the Theban characters for I and V, respectively. In the original chart by Trithemius, the letter W comes after Z, as it was a recent addition to the Latin alphabet, and did not yet have a standard position. This caused it to be misinterpreted as an ampersand [6] or end-of-sentence mark [7] by later translators and copyists, such as Francis Barrett. Some users of those later charts transliterate W using the Theban characters for VV, parallel to how the English letter developed. Some Theban letter shapes have changed from book to book over time. Also, it could represent the buried seed that is being nurtured before it can sprout.

Learning the runes takes discipline, but the reward is enormous. Below are some of my personal methods and practices I use:
