The design of the Air Patroller is excellent. The colors are bright, vivid, and perfectly match the team’s colors in the TV show.It started with Cap'n Turbot and Francois flying on a hang glider towards Volcano Island, they were searching for the white Albino monkey so they can take a picture of it. But, they were arguing of where it would be, and it caused them to crash land on the island. Now, the Turbots were stranded. Francois began to fix the hang glider, but then, a nearby hurricane is approaching the island. Francois wasn't able to get the glider fixed up, Cap'n Turbot started to call the PAW Patrol. The flying sounds and flashing lights make for tremendously imaginative play and allow children to really immerse themselves in a Paw Patrol world. The ability to move the propellers from that of an airplane to the vertical rotors of a helicopter is a nice touch, although it is perhaps a stretch to imply that the two modes of play are hugely different. For any fan of Paw Patrol that already has some of the individual characters, the Air Patroller is a wonderful accompaniment.
