About this deal
I made this mango body butter (I also added a hyaluronic acid serum w/a natural preservative I made) and use it every morning immediately after my shower. What I’m finding is that by mid afternoon my skin is getting really really dry and crepe like. When I was using an over-the-counter lotion, like Eucerin, I didn’t have that problem. I love adding lavender essential oil for anything skincare because of the incredible benefits it has for the skin. Lavender can reduce signs of aging, improve skin imperfections, and keep the skin clean and purified.
You can make whipped butter by mixing mango butter, cocoa butter, or shea butter with a carrier oil. The carrier oil you use is completely up to you! My favorites are fractionated coconut oil, sweet almond oil, or jojoba oil. If you made this recipe, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what essential oil blend you went with! I love making my own natural skincare and this whipped mango butter is one of my favorites. It is made with all-natural ingredients that will keep your skin silky smooth.NOTES: If stored properly, whipped body butter will be good for up to one year. It is best to store in a glass container with an airtight container.
Mixing it with a carrier oil and essential oils will make the mango butter light and fluffy. It will also add more benefits to the skin. HOMEMADE WHIPPED MANGO BODY BUTTERAfter freezer I whipped for 2 minutes and had perfect whip and consistency I wanted. (Really most people would find step 2 good. But I wanted extra whip. Lol)
