To have a unified way of handling container-caching across Standalone Mode, for batch jobs with varying resource requirements, and for sessions, the ResourceManager keeps the pool of available TaskManagers and their slots. The JBL Flip 6 has only one port - a USB-C port that you use to charge the speaker. Loss of connection to the JobManager results in triggering master-failure recovery (currently: cancel all tasks form that master) JBL has been one of our most-recommended Bluetooth speaker brands for years now. It makes some of the best Bluetooth speakers you can buy that are durable, portable and produce great sound – often without the higher price tag of some of its competitors.
Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with the JBL Flip 5 or the JBL Flip 6. They are both excellent outdoor, portable speakers. They have a rugged and minimal design, they’re easy-to-use and offer incredible sound without a ton of extra features to navigate. They simply play music and play it well. We might have thought we’d close this review by advising JBL to rework the Flip now – add a few more features to keep up with the growing competition. Instead, we are left praising the sonic chops of a proposition that now offers extra durability, the option to tailor the sound plus an extra ounce of space and detail within its trademark zealous and musical presentation. As great as we think the JBL Flip 6 is, it is missing one feature that outdoorsy types may find useful: a built-in phone charger. But there are plenty who will prefer the slimmer JBL Flip 6 to the beefy Charge 5, and be more than happy with all it offers. And for this money, the excellent Flip 6 still gets a hearty recommendation from us. Samsung's foldables are among the most durable you can buy. The offer enough water resistance that they can be fully submerged without batting an eye. However, it's not quite the same situation with dust resistance, and without an official rating, we're left to anxiously handle our devices when at the beach or on a hike.
